It’s a New Year and that means a new you. Time to start 2017 out with a healthy kick with this awesomely delicious green smoothie. Just because it’s green doesn’t not mean it’s gross. Green is the best!
Jam packed with great nutrients, all while not sacrificing taste. That means its the best.
The best part about smoothies is that you can substitute a lot of what’s in it for other things! Don’t like coconut water very much (although I recommend it especially after a night of drinking)? Sub that out for some almond milk or just plain old water!
Let’s get this health kick started!
Green Recovery Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 cups coconut water
- 1 cup frozen spinach
- 1 cup kale
- 1 cup banana
- 1 cup green apple
- 1 avocado
Instructions:
- Add coconut water, spinach and kale to a high speed blender. Blend until smooth.
- Add the rest of your ingredients and continue to blend until smooth.
- Top with chia seeds or hemp seeds or coconut. (optional)
