Finely chop your pecans and add to a small bowl, along with your rolled oats, maple syrup, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix until the maple syrup has coated everything.
Slice your pears in half, vertically, and with a spoon or a cookie scoop, scoop out the centre of your pears. You should only scoop out about 1 tbsp worth of pear as you do not want the sides of your pear too thin.
Place your pears on a lined baking sheet and add a heaping scoop of the oat mixture into each of the pears. It is okay if it is overflowing, it looks better this way.
Drizzle about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of your pear cider onto each pear.
Bake your pears for 25 minutes or until tender. Every 5-10 minutes you are going to want to drizzle a tiny bit more cider onto each pear to keep the moisture, especially if your pears are not ripe.
While they are baking you can make a simple drizzle for them by combining your icing sugar with 1 tbsp of cider.
